FOUR CORNERS

DISTRICT

The Places:

Four Corners: aka 'The Danger Zone" as you don't want to get caught in the middle of it, espically if you're the cause of attention. The LAW men try to stay as far away from Four Corners if at all possible and on the occassion they can't...well, let's just say they make sure they've left an impression to be remembered by after they leave.

The Court House occupies the East Corner-- Judge Orrin Travis has an office here. Oddly enough his window faces his daughter in law's office just across the street at the SDU-T.

The San Diego Police Department on the South corner-- Downtown Brown works out of this building as a PD Detective.
An underground tunnel links the courthouse with the PD as a protective way to escort criminals to and from their day in court.

The West Corner is home to the San Diego Union-Tribune-- here Mary Travis works as a reporter.

The North Corner houses the City Offices...City Hall-- It is here Amanda Chamberlene works.

The People:

Orrin Travis-Circut Judge

Orrin has a habit of establishing new programs to keep "wayward souls" off the street. He speaks his peace without fear or reservation. He lives with his wife, daughter-in-law and grandson in San Diego.

Mary Travis-Reporter for the San Deigo Union-Tribune

Her husband was killed after printing a story about organised crime. She moved into the Judge's residence shortly afterwards with her young son Billy. Her affiliation with the LAW men is strictly proffesional, though like most reporters, she has a bad habit of sticking her nose where it doesn't belong.

Downtown Brown-San Diego Detective

He's known for turning a not so blind eye on Simon & Simon and now LAW. He understands the men's need to close a case, but at what risk he's not so willing to take. He's protective of the Simon's and somewhat intimidated by LAW, but that doesn't stop him from laying the law down when the occassion calls for it. Brown is not married.

Amanda Chamberlegne-City Clerk

From the East Coast orginally, Amanda is a ready help, but hesistates at anything "off the record" or that may breach clearance. She is a wealth of knowledge and loves a challenge. She once was a secretary for the Judge, now is head of Records. Amanda is a no nonsense type of gal, but as Vin puts it, "A lot of information passes through records and it helps if you treat the lady kindly." In the end it is usually Vin Tanner's charm and smile that succeeds in obtaining the information needed. This "habit" earns Vin the moniker "last time Tanner"

Misc. Names and Places...

Various restaraunts and coffee houses are in the walking vicinity of Four Corners. The "carrot on the stick" so to speak is the Starbucks just up the street from the Courthouse. It's for this reason that Ezra usually 'volunteers' his services to venture into Four Corners.

Purgatorio...a section of town where Vin spent most of his time with wayward parolees. A drug mecca swarming with runaways, prostitutes and the like, information can be gathered here, though make sure to bring your Lysol and firearm...leave the cash at home.

Inez Recillos...Inez runs a halfway house in Purgatorio. Though not out to "save the world", Inez would just like to see it shifted. She comes from a large family of brothers, six to be exact. She is wise to Buck's, amorish intentions and has a tendancy to "use" this when there are repairs to be done around the facility. Of course the rogue is usually reward with a six pack, a peck on the cheek and sent on his way, which only encourages him that, "there is gold at the end of that rainbow."
